About the process

Angles and profiles to your drawing

Press bending creates angles and a three-dimensional shape from a flat blank. Typical uses include profiles, brackets and parts that fit into an assembly. The bending sequence depends on the shape, material and available tooling.

The finished-part drawing should show final dimensions, angles and radii. Openings near bends and visible surfaces require particular attention. If the blank has already been cut, we check whether it allows the required bends before processing.

Frequently asked questions

Should I send a flat pattern or a finished-part drawing?

The finished-part drawing is the starting point because it defines final dimensions and angles. Send both if available. We review preparation against the material and tooling.

What if the blank has already been cut?

Send the blank drawing, material, thickness and required finished shape. We review whether the geometry and opening positions allow the requested bends before agreeing the work.
