About the process

Repeatable parts with suitable tooling

Metal stamping uses a press and tool to repeat a shape across multiple parts. Depending on the tooling, the operation may involve cutting, punching or forming sheet metal. Tooling and order volume are therefore central to preparation.

If you already have a tool, its details and photographs help us assess the work. If not, mention this in your enquiry. Preparation and tooling options are agreed before quoting; any new tool manufacture requires a separate agreement.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enquire without having a tool?

Yes. State that no tool is available and send the drawing and quantity. We review preparation and available options before quoting. Any new tooling must be specifically confirmed and agreed.

Why does the quantity matter?

Quantity and repeat orders influence process selection and preparation. Include the current order quantity and any expected future orders so the assessment reflects your needs.
